Re: Army Combat Medical Badge for Medevac crews

Once side of me says "Yeah ! you guys deserve that and so much more" and then again I still feel a twinge when those choppers faded in the distance. They back to the relatively safety and comfort of the base camps, we setting up a perimeter in the gathering darkness. Yet again they were usually in the thick of it with us, but they missed the darker side of boobytraps and landmines. Hey! where does the argument end? I dunno. And the CIB comes in many flavors. Some earned it cheaply, and some earned it a hundred times. I just dunno and have always been ambivalent about badges. I remember coming out of cub scouts and was trying out for boy scouts, but couldn't master them gawdamn knots, so I just developed a bad attitude about badges. - LMAO Greg |
