Default Take it slow

Ron

I had two hernia surgeries in my late thirties just before they started doing all the laproscopic patchwork. I walked a lot the day after surgery but slowly. It helps keep the blood flowing to heal faster, but don't do any seriously hard and heavy stuff till you get the ok from your Doc. Sounds like you're doing OK though. Glad you're hernia didn't get strangulated or anything else serious. Take it easy.

Doc
I took that picture above, in my mustang while on Hwy 59 in Houston. I'm not happy unless I am going down hill with my hair on fire, Just me.
But I will give slowing down a shot. Yuuuuck.

Hang in there Ron. Nice photo. How about a wheelie at 140 mph? Makes me feel good just to see it

P.S. No, I don't think he pulls 245mph but he does pull a 140 mph wheelie

Oh well. I guess I'm getting old.

Ron your old body won't handle 750 lb leg presses. We get older. I'm all for exercise and staying in shape but, 750 leg presses is not sensible for those of us over 60.

Keith, David
Keith, I have to put it in my mind NOT to do stuff like that, Just because I can do it don't mean I should do it, It's hell getting old.

Dave, If you watch the white strips in the road , this bike is not doing 200.
At 140 the strips go away and you can clearly see the strips. I would guess somewhere 100+.
He must have changed his speedometer gear just for the film. Either that or he is using a Kilometer speedometer
My V-max would go right to 160 and 160 on a bike is pretty intense.

Default Hernia's I can relate

I've had two already abdominal ones and I have third as I write this script. Not fun and rather uncomfortable at times. The Va Doc said you've got another want me to take of it? I said Doc when it bother's me I will let you cut me once again. Until then I can tolerate it and will keep and eye on it.

Busted the first one shortly after getting it done and I was laid up for at least 8 to 10 weeks mending. This one came about about 2 maybe three years ago and its bothersome at time - but I work through it. Just have to be careful.

I was afraid of that Ron. I also noticed he is going 30 before he has even turned straight onto the road so he most likely is not doing 140 for the wheelie either. I think he changed the speedo gears as you suggested. If you find any that look legit (i have never been above 120 myself and that was in a car) please post them.

LOL. Don't let him fool you... he had the car on a lift for repair when he took the pic. Get well Ron.
