New Member - Looking for Info
My father served in the US Army, 3rd Armored Batallion in Korea - 1950 - 1952. I am seeking information pertaining to awards/citations/emblems from that era in order to make a presentation case for him. US Army records are not helpful as most were destroyed in a fire.
My fathers name is Raymond J. Rocco from Cleveland Ohio and as far as I know he was a Sergeant in a Sherman tank crew. Some letters that I found refer to the 'punch bowl'. If anyone can assist me with this project or can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it. I want to honor his service as he approaches his 80th birthday. Thank you! Rick Rocco |

What Armored or Infantry Division was this particular 3rd Battalion attached to? Would make a search a little easier.
