Thoughtful 'Fog of War' studies agony of Vietnam

During last Sunday's Oscar ceremonies, director Errol Morris thanked
the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for finally
recognizing his work by awarding him an Oscar for best documentary for
"Fog of War."

That may have sounded a tad arrogant to some, but not to me. Morris
has turned out some of the best documentaries ever, and the academy
had, indeed, waited far too long to recognize him.

Below you'll find a list of Morris' works, and I hope you'll seek them
out after viewing "Fog of War." They're all good and certainly worth
your viewing time.

As to "Fog of War," this highly acclaimed documentary is about Robert
McNamara, who was secretary of defense under presidents Kennedy and
Johnson and presided over the Vietnam War, which some people came to
call McNamara's War. Through an amazing interview with McNamara in
this film, you'll be able to decide for yourself whether that is a
fair depiction of McNamara's involvement in Vietnam.

McNamara appears to be forthright in his answers to tough questions
and has some almost terrifying things to reveal about the Cuban
