Game Day Report

Well, it was certainly an interesting start of the 2008 season for the New England End Zone Milita. On the way to Gillette Stadium we were in a 5 minivan caravan, stopped in traffic, when a HUGE stretch limo pulled up along side us. One guy recognized us, got out of the limo with an open beer and handed it to one of our guys...right in front of a state trooper. The statie took the beer, went over to the limo, pulled the guy out, chewed him a new butthole, and made him pour out the beer.

While tailgating in the parking lot, former Patriot player Pete Brock came over and chatted with us. Great guy and still in playing shape, except for the obvious scars on his knees.

During pre-game ceremonies, about 50+ MA National Guard troops (who came back from Iraq deployment, reenlisted and we had a flyover from 3 5-15's. Damn, those suckers are loud!

During the game we lost one of the best QB's in the league when Brady took a hit to his left knee. Word is that its a torn ACL and he'll probably be out the rest of the season. So much for a Super Bowl this year.

On KC's last play of the game, they had 4th&goal on the Pats 5. Damon Huarte tried a pass to the WR on my side of the field but it was a bad, low throw that richoched of the ground and hit me in the shoulder... and it hurt!

After the game, Pete Brock came by again, this time with his daughter and her friend (couple of hot babes) for a photo session with us and some fans.

So we lost our QB, won the game, got together with an old friend, sweated our butts off, and blasted off several rounds.

Then there was the traffic, but that's too frustrating to go into.
