I hope I'm posting this in the right place ...
I know it's early to be thinking about Veterans Day, but us old guys who distribute the free "Military Salute" CD/DVD learned a valuable lesson around Memorial Day and we'd like to avoid the last-minute pummeling we experienced in May.
Qualifying groups and organizations that plan to use "Military Salute" to commemorate Veterans Day are urged to order your free copy ASAP. The contents of the video and examples of qualifying groups are listed on our home page at
http://condocat.home.att.net
You can receive one free copy from us and you may make as many copies as you wish. If you do make copies, you can download the artwork we use from our website.
The packages we send are all prepared in advance, including postage, and are mailed via First Class mail only. We will not send packages via overnight delivery or courier. We ask that you allow yourself plenty of lead-time, especially if you need to test "Military Salute" on a DVD player or as part of a Powerpoint presentation.
Also, we have allowed a few organizations to use "Military Salute" to raise funds for postage to send care packages to units deployed in OEF and OIF. We'd be happy to work with you as long as you abide by the legal requirements necessary to comply with Federal and state copyright laws. We will provide your group with a signed disclaimer that we have permission to use all of the images and music. Send us an e-mail at
sailordoc@webtv.net or

We prepared a fairly large number of copies during the "slow" weeks in July and August, so we're ready to start sending out copies for Veterans Day right now. We received requests for approximately 1,500 copies just before Memorial Day and it nearly killed all five of us. That's when we stopped sending copies to everyone and restricted the project to groups. Even with the change in policy, the average-per-week continues to climb, so we implore you to request your copy now. Thanks!
