Default LT Are You Watchin The Man Hunt In Atlanta?

I saw they have four schools locked downin North Atlanta. Where's your house? And are the girls watchin' the news? This guy has already hijacked several cars after he shot the Judge and deputies in the court house. Fox has been running it all morning.

I just heard they had a woman deputy on this 6ft 1in 200 lb man. She was armed but he managed to get her revolver away from her. Not to many women are GI Janes so as far as I'm concerned our politically correct mindset just got that judge and deputies killed. Where is common sense? :cd:

Thumbs down

He was not handcuffed or shackled when taken from the jail to the court house because it presents an appearance of Guilt , said the Sheriff who also said he didn't see how things could have been done different. BS! More political cover up by the Atlanta Taliban. Our last Mayor goes to trial in Sept. for corruption and kick backs

LTdoyou think it's possible this wasa set up to make it as easy as possible for him to take this judge out?He already had been caught with a shank in his shoe previously. Why in the world would they put a woman on such a big guy that had held hostage, raped and sodomized a woman, allow him to stroll around not shankled or cuffed?

Post If I remember correctly.

Some years ago the supreme court ruled that jail clothes and shackles could bias a judge or jury during the actual trial. I don't know of any place that doesn't let someone on trial wear civilian clothes and they are unshackled. That is standard proceedure unless they pose a threat, which this man did, so shackles would have been appropriate. Poor judgement on allowing a small person to guard such a dangerous criminal. There were mistakes. And PC could have been behind it.

Here in our county in NW Florida NO FIREARMS go into the court building. Even law enforcement. No firearms PERIOD.

Post Steve,

No Firearms. Probably Smart. That way no shooting. I don't believe jail guards carry weapons in Washington. But, I have seen regular officers guarding the perimeter carrying weapons.
