Default Afghan and NATO forces boost Afghan National Police capacity

On 15 August, 40 Afghan National Police (ANP) officers from district police stations across Afghanistan’s Badghis Province and the Provincial Reserve Battalion received diplomas after completing a basic police tactics course for non-commissioned officers. During the 18-day course, the officers improved their skills in self-defence, checkpoint control and crowd control. The event followed another important ceremony that swore in 300 new male and five new female police officers.
