(Another opinion piece) If the vote of the majority means so little, as is often the case in today’s society and the will of our law-abiding people means even less, then is it not also true that the people themselves have become inconsequential in the running of our own nation? And call it what you like, but when the will (and the vote) of any group of people is circumvented (or usurped) by the vested or the greedy, then does not those same citizens lose their righteous and numerical control - and this, no matter who it is that is pulling all of the wrong, but controlling, strings? “Now what is so damned hard to understand about that?” And no matter what you opt to call it, be it genetic-gerrymandering, personal collusion, or even the outright theft of another’s goods and rights, the end result is always the same – the power of the people is greatly diminished (if not eventually obliterated), and the same type of voluntary slavery that has hamstrung entire civilizations in times past is given an encore performance. And this in an attempt to finally eradicate that which works, all that is constructive, and anything else that has the potential of finally advancing our species beyond the moral, and self imposed mental dungeons that we ourselves have built and occupied for centuries! “In short (and like it or not), we have often become the very first victims of our own soul-less and greed-infused little minds and spirits!” Hardcore

Your right HC
The entire workings of government are in flux - bottom up - to top down. When our government can't work together people get insecure & worried. Not just the people but the world is watching the US self-destruct. We need a reset button but evidently that is also missing of late. This course we are on is not self-correcting unless there is something I don't know? The bumping heads at every turn leaves us to ask - whose right & whose wrong. No compromises - my way or the highway - higher and fire - what a mess. A gremlin or poltergeist is at work. Boats
