That's right...let's see, if my math skill haven't completely left me, that would be...uhhhh...2x0=0...yeah, that't it! Spend it wisely.

I live just a tad south of you, in Madera, about 20 miles north of (urp) Fresno.

Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on one's POV), I've been a civilian all my life. Back in 1966, I managed to fail the service physical--I'm blind as a bat w/o my (coke-bottle bottom) glasses. I guess if I had passed that little test, I would have gotten the grand tour of the garden spots of SE Asia...

There?s nothing wrong with not being in the military. Not your fault the physical didn't meet the requirements of you. Believe me , you didn't miss anything. Now If you had went to Canada there might be a little different opinion about not being in the military.
You showed up, There loss. As far as I?m concerned you did your obligation.
But then, sometimes I might be in the minority around here..

I agree with Ron many contributions to the war efforts are often times done by civvies. Everyone contributes in one way or the other. Remember we are all a TEAM and if we stick together and support those in the field - this incentive goes along way.

Default Z-dorf...

Welcome Aboard.

Plus, I would advise you stick with those old Revolutionary
and Civil War type conflicts,...since such wars made/make a-
helluva-lot more sense having, than many thereafter,
and especially nowadays.

Hell,...this latest Iraq War would have been resolved
by Total Victory about 15 or so years ago, if only fought
in the old ways of Killing & Totally Destroying A Murderously-
Dictatorial & Fanatical Enemy, as in WWII.
No doubt same could've occured in Korea and Vietnam also.
