Thanks for the welcome all.
Jerry,my last year at Alconbury, they were having the radio guys crosstrain with us. They split flight-line work from shop work. Us radio/radar flightline guys pretty much did each others work (well, mainly radio helping us, our systems were in a permanent state of broke all the time). We weren't officially together by a long shot, and I think the shop guys were still split at the time.

Roger, I had a good friend Harry(a C141 Engine troop) at McChord AFB whose father in law lived near Alconberry thats where he met his wife. His Father in Law loved his big Yank Tank an Olds 442
