Stick Man
Yo Welder, what up?
I was a welder too through the 70s,mostly pipe. Mostly 6010, 6011 and 70xx Worked mostly in refineries (West Coast) pipelines (Alaska)and offshore (Gulf Coast) finally gave it up when I got tired of setting myself on fire. Then I became a carpenter, ultimately a contractor--its easier work. Welcome to this site, there's a lot of good people here. Don't let these people drag you off and get you drunk, its a plot Stay good James

Welder,
My wife Stephanie was in the Army stationed at Ft Richardson and Ft Hood. She was in the 16th Sig at Fort Hood, She was 26 L 20 (Tatical Microwave Systems Repair) even tho she was an operator at Ft Hood She got to do repairs at Ft Richardson. She wants to know what is M.S.E. at Ft Hood? BTW she got out of the Army in 1980 as a Sp4. Jerry

Jerry, M.S.E stands for Moble Subscriber Equiptment. M.S.E. replaced the Armys old analog systems in the late 80s and early 90s.. It is all digital and 100% secure.. It replaced a lot of land lines between one site and an other useing eather UHF or SHF radio shots instead. Your wife and I have some thing kinda in commen, She was at the 16th and I was at there sister Bn the 57th. I was there from 88 to 90.. Any way thats MSE kinda in a nut shell..
