In what has turned into a giant national pecker match, the words of Benjamin Franklin have apparently been cast to the winds of time. Franklin said, away back in July of 1776, that, and I quote: “We must indeed all hang together, or most assuredly, we shall all hang separately” – “SO WHAT HAPPENED PEOPLE?”

Maybe it all started when some damned fool referred to “Our Founders” as a bunch of terrorists? Or maybe, we have begun to forget the mortal dangers that “The Patriots of Yore” faced in order to give you the country that you now enjoy? Whatever it was that prompted the snide remarks of those who so quickly forgot what it truly means to be an American however, maybe they should all go back to school and study the blood, sweat, tears and toil that went into our making?

And finally: I don’t give a damned how much money or political power any man, woman or political party has, as patriotism will always be a labor of love and a work in progress! And unless the payments are kept up, some lean and hungry predator may someday jump up and bite us all squarely upon our collective backsides, while stealing our liberty away from us - lock, stock and barrel!

And Always Remember This: – “Freedom Is Not Now - Nor Has It Ever Come (Within Our Entire And Illustrious History), Without An Often Staggering And Sometimes Monumental Cost!”
