I was too small and shy to play any HS sports other than JV football for a while. I played end (wide receiver) cuz I could run like hell away from those mean-ass defensive backs and hope on hope they never sent the ball my way. Later on I played City and County league volleyball and really enjoyed that. Then I got into short track stock car racing and got all pounded to blur with all that ?non-contact? racin. I reckoned non-contact really means yer tires are not contacting the asphalt most of the time, yikes.

HS softball, field hockey (yep wore the little skirt and all), gymnastics, drill team...rifle & flags. Competitive trail riding...22 miles in 4.5 hours on horseback thats at a steady bone jarring trot.

And up until two years ago when I had my shoulder surgery I play co-ed league softball on the company team.

6'2" Wow!

Please stay away from my hubby. (just kidding Mel) It's his secret desire to date a tall girl just once. He's 6'4" and I'm 5'4" on a good day, with heels on.

He's always complaining about a crick in his neck. I tell him its better than the pain in the arse that I'm living with.

You mean to tell me that Schoools had Sports in the 60s.

Shucks, I thought chasing skirts was one. ( love them mini skirts)

I can remember playing alot of Hockey, ( oops Hookie ).

Really though, football, tight end,. then my grades starting dropping and dropping and dropping., so I went AWOL from school and joined the Navy and went to Vietnam for a long long time. Yep another AWOL, but that was for a good reason...

Wish I would have been here in Texas then and going through school with Ron. Man was he ever " active ". Bet ya he passed all with flying colors...

enough..........

Post I played:

Football, Basketball, Baseball.
Best Sport, probably baseball.

Played Basketball in College and at Ft. Devens. Had the privilege to play against several NBA players. (They were quite a bit better than me.)

Played Softball on all levels, Fast pitch A ball, Several slow pitch leagues, and church mixed team softball.

Always had good hand and eye cordination

Blew my knee out two years ago playing football with some kids.

I just play golf these days, fly fish, & hunt. Do lots of walking.
