The joke has it that it would be helpful to have the French on board in the liberation of Iraq so that they can teach Saddam's soldiers how to surrender. If a report in London's Mirror is any indication, though, the French are totally useless. "Terrified Iraqi soldiers have crossed the Kuwait border and tried to surrender to British forces," the tabloid reports. "The motley band of a dozen troops waved the white flag as British paratroopers tested their weapons during a routine exercise. The stunned Paras from 16 Air Assault Brigade were forced to tell the Iraqis they were not firing at them, and ordered them back to their home country telling them it was too early to surrender."

Boy, they can't wait to surrender. HAHAHA

Unfortunately these are more than likely the same conscripts that man the front line in 1991. The Republican Guard will fight and many people on both sides will die. There is little that Hussein says that I believe, but I do believe he will throw everything he has when we encircle Baghdad.
