Sleep study

My wife, being a nurse, scheduled me for a sleep study which was performed last night. It was determined that I cant walk and chew gum at the same time. They wouldn't believe me when I told them that breathing was optional while sleeping. Well anyway they hooked up ten probes to my head. two on my chest. two on my legs and two on my hands. All of which were wired directly to monitor and a camera, and they want you to go to sleep. I was afraid I was gonna hang myself. (body oxygen level went down to 60% which is better then the alcohol level on Psyco mtn.... excluding Andy) They went on to explain that lack of oxygen screws up your brain so now I have a new excuse for being a sick puppy.

I knew something was wrong with you years ago , I just never thought it was the air , but it all adds up now.See if your DR will give you some airarga for the times YOU want to breathe really , really Hard.

Bob, they gave my step-mother-in-law that test a few years ago. She was showing all the signs of dementia, (Alzheimer?s). She was prescribed the nicotine patch. Nicotine, it turns out, stops brain degeneration. Unfortunately, like her, I?m sure it?s too late for you, however, keep smoking.
Blood content on the mountain, what do you think? I?d guess a 3.9, add the little white pills and again, I should have been dead.

Being an expert on alcohol.... The body shuts down at .3 BAC When you were crawling around on the floor looking for your percosec and we were looking for your Depends. I would professionaly say your body was shutting down and you were totally $hit faced!!!!! BAC level, alcohol only way past .3 compounded by percosec and xanax again professionaly speaking...you were really phucked up (clinically dead)

Bob when do you start using the C-PAP machine? I've been on one for two years and it really works. P.S. if you go to your V.A. hospital they will set you up with the best one out there. shoot mine even has water so I get wet breath or something. make you look like a Elephant but it does work. good luck

The VA wanted me to undergo that sleep test thingy several years ago.At the time I was only gettin about 2-3 hrs of sleep on a GOOD nite,and they expected me to go in there and sleep with all that riggin lashed to me!??Fat chance.I cancelled.

In 1978 I got a DUI with a B/A count of 2.7...The Stater was amazed that I was,although not in the least bit coherant,still alive.I later thanked him for saving someone`s life-maybe mine-or worse yet,an innocent.

I've been using the C-PAP since January...and my wife loves it! Mainly because I no longer snore so loud it registers on the Richter Scale. The only problem I have with it is that the mask sometimes comes loose during the night and breaks the seal so that it "farts" and wakes me up, and I have to re-adjust it. But I do sleep better. Sleep apnia can be very dangerous. Didn't a retired NFL player recently die from it? And he was only 42!

Im sorry, i couldnt resist......I just woke up and the only part of my oxygen deprived brain that working is marked "sick puppy".
One other thing about this.......I have cravings to drink a tall glass of milk and eat a brownie.
