Sadly, US soldiers continue to die in Iraq. The total US soldiers now killed in Iraq is well over 330, not 100-something as reported in the major media. They only count soldiers killed in verified combat, and more recently only soldiers killed in combat since Bush declared an end to major hostilities. There are also soldiers dying in accidents and from illnesses all the time. Is this a calculated attempt to make the war more acceptable to the American public?

Well over 1500 US soldiers have also been seriously injured or struck by serious illness, but the Defense Department remains vague on details and on exact numbers.
