Price Gouging

“With the pandemic on, one would think (or at least hope) that any thoughts of price-gouging would quickly be eliminated from the American Mind?” But alas, here we are, a progressive race, steeped in compassion, patriotism and even brotherly-love, and yet, when the situation arises to make a fast, greedy, and easy buck, there are still those people out there who are straining at the bit to stick it to their fellow man? “Or at least, this is the message that I get after listening to a piece that just appeared on the tube – out here on The Shaky-Side?”

Granted, making a profit is apparently the nature of mankind, or at least, making a fair profit? But when anyone uses a natural disaster, or any other mortal catastrophe, to bilk his fellow beings, then mankind must arise as a single unit to cry foul-craven! For it is not now, nor has it ever been (in my opinion), proper, or even righteous, to unreasonably capitalize off of the suffering, the pain or the hardship of “Our Fellow-Americans!”

But of course, these are only my own personal opinions – opinions that are apparently not shared by “all” of our fellow-Americans, and in my opinion again, “MORE IS THE SHAME”, as it is my firm belief that if we do not begin (and quickly) to stick together, then we just may fly apart just as quickly – and so it is!!!!
