U.S. Army's Latest Weapon Has Kim Jong Un Stress Eating: Attack Helicopters With LASERS

Remember when you were a kid and you imagined yourself shooting laser beams at the “bad guys” in your living room?

You would make the quintessential “phew, phew” sound as you fired one imaginary round after another.

Well, it turns out that some kid's imagination when it came to laser beams stayed with them into their adulthood and a helicopter with a laser beam attached to it has been created.

According to a report by TaskandPurpose.com, the U.S. Army and the U.S. Special Operations Command tested an AH-64 Apache attack helicopter armed with a state of the art targeting system, aka a laser beam, and it was a complete success.

The testing took place at White Sands Missile Range test ground in New Mexico, where they managed to hit their target over a multitude of variables, TaskandPurpose.com notes.

Raytheon helped created the device, making this the first helicopter to ever have a laser attached to it and as you can see in the video above. It's just as badass as it sounds.
