BALI 'bugs" resistant to antibiotics and never seen before by Australian doctors, are thriving in the horrific burns injuries of the Kuta attack victims from Bali. Patients being treated at Royal Perth, Royal Darwin and Concord Repatriation Hospitals, brought the organisms back in their wounds. They are resistant to anti-microbial drugs and are proving difficult to treat. Doctors at Concord Hospital, treating the Bali victims are reporting an unusual amount of gangrene and, as a result, amputations.
