Talking

James Jones; Bob Smith; John Q. Public Thomas; Tom . Now there's a good, solid, strong name......and not as common as dirt. Thomas Alan.....it sings.

I made the cut for Finn's middle name. Finnegan Thomas; now THERE'S a good name. Benjamin's middle name is Robert. My daughter and son-in-law picked it after I told them what a great role model Bob K is :re: . Actually, that covered alot of bases. My Ol' Man, Kath's Dad, Tim's [son-in-law] brother, Kath's brother, my son [Robert Scott, but grew up Scott; too many Roberts in the family]. I like my middle name; my Mother's maiden name. Thomas O'Driscoll. A good name that reflects my family's pride in our Irish heritage, as does Finnegan. Picking a name is serious stuff. I always wonder about those Hollywood morons that name their kids like they're naming their dog or cat, or making a statement at their kid's expense.

Thumbs up Grand-pa

Montana wait till that child is old enough to keep quite about who is buying the things Mom and Dad have already said no to before you open that check book. I didn't and my first grand son told grand ma who bought him the electric motorcycle and grand ma got mine.

Unhappy Just Slow

Thanks, but you guys know how slow us old men are, heck it took two days to make a second reply. As for those Grand-kids, I got 6 so if I ain't here it's because I'm broke and had to pawn my computor . Now that I found you all, I'll be hanging around, oh and like windows I don't do sandbags .

Hey Bandman ..... I'm sure you'll like it here. There's so much to explore besides the posts. Take your time and look around the whole site.
