Talking Fifteen years ago today

Joanne and I stood in front of the Mayor of Strongsville, Ohio and said "I do, until death do us part" for the last time. We meant it since it was our third marriage to each other and we didn't want to pay any more lawyers ever again. Fifteen years and 1 day ago I did my last joint and my last drink. Fifteen years ago I got my four kids back plus three kids more that were born of Joanne during the twelve years that we were divorced from each other.
Four years ago Joanne was diagnosed with lung cancer but she beat it because if she didn't then we wouldn't have been able to celibrate today. Back in January of this year I was supposed to die but what do the doctors know anyway? In the past few months a old War injury has come back and I, once again, have to walk with a cane. I hate that. I don't know how many times I have had to have someone help me get up off the floor because my legs have given out and I didn't have enough strength to get up myself. Tonight I am thankful to have such a great family and wife. Tomorrow, good Lord willing, I'll have another day to enjoy them.
Sorry friends. Just had to tell somebody how greatful I am.

Default Thanks!!

It is always great to read of others miracles! To read of your 'burning bush' experience gives all of us hope, can restore faith, and brightens our day! May the Peace of our good Lord be with you today, and always!!

Cool hang in there

People who are married live longer (or maybe it just seems that way). No they do live longer and that's a good thing. Happy 15th. Falling down and not being able to get up, I can relate to that. It wasn't because of my legs for about 2 years my BP was usually running at about 75 over 50, sometimes 60 over 40. Now I'm 100 over 68. Keep the faith brother hope you get better too.

Stay healthy,
Andy
