ASTORIA, Ore. — The Coast Guard rescued a fisherman from the mouth of the Columbia River Tuesday morning. An emergency radio beacon at 5 a.m. alerted crews to the Rose Marie fishing vessel with a 53-year-old man hanging by a liferaft in the stern.
