Artillery
Col...After my recent visit to good ole Ft Sill I have learned that the Army has scapped plans to field the Crusader that they had been working on and is now designing and testing a new 155 SP. Any word or info on this?

I've heard rumors that the Army is looking at a 155SP made in South Africa that has a range that exceeds the Crusader by about 8,000 meters.
I also have been told that the weapon is considerably cheaper to produce in South Africa where they don't have our labor unions. FYI, we are already getting our 155mm practice ammo from South Africa. |
