Default Platoon

So right that Platoon did not portray Vietnam. It might have been Olivers Stones war, but I know that in my unit Sergeants didn't kill other Sergeants, and soldiers I served with didn't rape any Vietnamese women, or kill babie (intentionaly). I think We Were Soliders, Hamburger Hill, and parts of Platoon did portray Vietnam. Heck even some parts of Acopalyse now even portrayed Vietnam. If they make a movie about operation Wayne Grey maybe somefolks others than those who were part of it, will see how combat in the Central Highlands was. Any movie about Dak To would also show how brutal the combat the 4th ID, the 173rd, and in 1966 the 101st ABN faced in Dak To. Probably one of the most nastiest place I was in in Vietnam.
