Streisand Blames Reagan for Her Son's AIDS

We don't usually report what's in the National Enquirer, but we have to point out the hypocrisy of the left-wing media establishment, which gladly cited the tabloid's reports on Rush Limbaugh but has been silent on its drug allegations about NBC's Matt Lauer and now new revelations about Democrat diva Barbra Streisand. The Enquirer's Nov. 25 issue charges, "Barbra Streisand's fanatical support of the CBS movie smearing President Ronald Reagan wasn't just politics - it was personal!"

Babs' son, Jason Gould, who appeared in her movie "The Prince of Tides," is infected with AIDS, the tabloid says, and she has repeatedly cited the Democrat party line that Reagan should have done more to stop the disease.

She said as far back as 1992 that she would "never forgive" Reagan for his positions on AIDS education and research. "Streisand hates Reagan so much it clouds her judgment, insiders insist," the weekly reports.

[Editor's Notes: I wonder if it ever dawned on Barbra that the issue of personal accountability or responsibility might be applicable here? Did she ever advise her son to avoid dirty needles or to avoid aberrant sexual behavior? Of course, with leftists, their solution is simply to blame somebody else, seek a government program to solve the problem, or invent a delusional conspiracy theory.]

If this report is true and is driving Streisand?s ire, then we have another ?Mikie done it? on the loose. Externalization is a cheep and easy way of attempting to get ones self out of a painted in corner. One would have to have been completely oblivious to not know how AIDS spreads almost from the get-go, case one. So it would seem that sonny boy Jason was out in the ozone layer somewhere or just didn?t give a rat?s butt, or felt impervious due to the status thing, or is way into non-responsible acts. Anyone or all of the options suggested are probably applicable. Then there is the unlikely scenario that he is too dumb to pour piss out of a boot even if the directions are written on the heel.

There are some people who just blame others and never take personal responsibility for anything.
They come in all stripes (liberal and conservative). No one wants to admit to making mistakes.
I was taught that real men and women admit to making a mistake and say I'm sorry I blew it.

I've made my share of mistakes. I certainly hope I am capable of saying "I blew it."

Anyway, the blame game is the easy way out.

Certainly wasn't moral irresponsibility that allowed her son to catch aids? Dumb just plain dumb to blame others for your mistakes.
