4/1/2013 - RAF ALCONBURY, United Kingdom – Col. Michael Reiner, 423rd Air Base Group commander, presents Serenity Bolton with the first place in mathematics certificate for her poster on Sofia Kovalevskaya March 29. She collaborated with Kaelin Holman, Gina Squillace and Taina Rivera on the poster. The RAF Alconbury Women's History Month committee hosted a poster contest at the Alconbury Elementary School in recognition of Women's History Month! This year's theme is "Women Inspiring Innovation Through Imagination: Celebrating Women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics." Students made posters highlighting women who have made strides in these career fields.
