3,000 Chinese soldiers in Manila – Lacson

SEN. Panfilo Lacson on Wednesday said he received a report that about 2,000 to 3,000 alleged members of China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) are in the Philippines on an immersion mission.

“I would like to emphasize that this report is yet to be validated,” Lacson, chairman of the Senate Committee on National Defense and Security, bared in a text message.

“I can only say that my source is fairly reliable, based on past information that he has provided to me. The intelligence community should exert extra effort to gather information in this regard,” he added.

The PLA, with over 2 million active personnel, is China’s armed forces. It consists of five service branches: the Ground Force, Navy, Air Force, Rocket Force and Strategic Support Force.

“I have no way of validating the number given by my source. I merely relied on his reliability as a source of information, based on the accuracy of past reports that he has provided,” Lacson said.

“If true, we have every reason to be concerned because of the circumstances surrounding the WPS (West Philippine Sea), not to mention the unusually high number of Chinese influx and the unexplainable amount of monies flowing into the country from [the] Chinese…” he said.

The Makati Police earlier arrested two Chinese allegedly involved in the killing of their fellow citizen in a Makati restaurant on February 27.

The suspects were found carrying fake Chinese military identification cards. But the police said the suspects were not members of the PLA because the names and photos in the IDs did not match the suspects’.

The suspects were charged with murder, frustrated murder, and illegal possession of firearms and bladed weapon.

Personal note: PI just doesn't get it! Allowing Chinese into their country will be their downfall. When I was in the service - Any Chinese ship in PI waters was escorted away and that any Chinese that would attempt to port would be arrested. It seems PI has been looking away from that prior law. They are now embedded in the PI stronghold and this will be a problem unless they do come house cleaning. Your Leadership must be getting kickbacks for entry into your country. Your Leadership wanted the US Military out - but now and in doing so they've opened up a real can of worms for allowing China into your system. The killing of their people by the Chinese will become more and more frequent as long as they are allowed to take residence in your lands. We've told the people of the Philippines this happen. This is only going to get worse as time goes on. People of PI you're leadership should be held accountable for these intrusions. I know your people and have served with many of them in my service days. You are basically good people and you know better than try to deal with the Chinese. If you're leadership allows them in - I suspect your problems will only get far worse in a very short period of time. Your ancestors have to be rolling over in their graves knowing what you're in for if this continues.
