3rd CANADIAN DIVISION SUPPORT BASE DET WAINWRIGHT, Alberta—Since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution people of Asian descent have helped to build and defend our nation along with its interests; to celebrate their contributions to the history of the United States of America, May was declared Asian/Pacific-Islander Heritage Month on October 5, 1978.
