Red face Another TSA Outrage

Another TSA Outrage

UPDATE: I’m getting a lot of emails asking if this is actually true and is this person actually someone I know. (1) Yes it is true — it is too absurd to be made up. (2) Yes, I know the person.

——–

A friend of mine sent me this about his TSA experience. He, unlike most of us, was coming back into the country from Afghanistan on a military charter.

——–

As the Chalk Leader for my flight home from Afghanistan, I witnessed the following:

When we were on our way back from Afghanistan, we flew out of Baghram Air Field. We went through customs at BAF, full body scanners (no groping), had all of our bags searched, the whole nine yards.

Our first stop was Shannon, Ireland to refuel. After that, we had to stop at Indianapolis, Indiana to drop off about 100 folks from the Indiana National Guard. That’s where the stupid started.

First, everyone was forced to get off the plane–even though the plane wasn’t refueling again. All 330 people got off that plane, rather than let the 100 people from the ING get off. We were filed from the plane to a holding area. No vending machines, no means of escape. Only a male/female latrine.

It’s probably important to mention that we were ALL carrying weapons.

Everyone was carrying an M4 Carbine (rifle) and some, like me, were also carrying an M9 pistol. Oh, and our gunners had M-240B machine guns. Of course, the weapons weren’t loaded. And we had been cleared of all ammo well before we even got to customs at Baghram, then AGAIN at customs.

The TSA personnel at the airport seriously considered making us unload all of the baggage from the SECURE cargo hold to have it reinspected. Keep in mind, this cargo had been unpacked, inspected piece by piece by U.S. Customs officials, resealed and had bomb-sniffing dogs give it a one-hour run through. After two hours of sitting in this holding area, the TSA decided not to reinspect our Cargo–just to inspect us again: Soldiers on the way home from war, who had already been inspected, reinspected and kept in a SECURE holding area for 2 hours. Ok, whatever. So we lined up to go through security AGAIN.

This is probably another good time to remind you all that all of us were carrying actual assault rifles, and some of us were also carrying pistols.

So we’re in line, going through one at a time. One of our Soldiers had his Gerber multi-tool. TSA confiscated it. Kind of ridiculous, but it gets better.

A few minutes later, a guy empties his pockets and has a pair of nail clippers. Nail clippers. TSA informs the Soldier that they’re going to confiscate his nail clippers. The conversation went something like this:

TSA Guy: You can’t take those on the plane.

Soldier: What? I’ve had them since we left country.

TSA Guy: You’re not suppose to have them.

Soldier: Why?

TSA Guy: They can be used as a weapon.

Soldier: [touches butt stock of the rifle] But this actually is a weapon. And I’m allowed to take it on.

TSA Guy: Yeah but you can’t use it to take over the plane. You don’t have bullets.

Soldier: And I can take over the plane with nail clippers?

TSA Guy: [awkward silence]

Me: Dude, just give him your damn nail clippers so we can get the f**k out of here. I’ll buy you a new set.

Soldier: [hands nail clippers to TSA guy, makes it through security]

This might be a good time to remind everyone that approximately 233 people re-boarded that plane with assault rifles, pistols, and machine guns–but nothing that could have been used as a weapon.

gotta love those tsa guys and gals they are the same type of whakos i delt with in seattle when i started stripping in the line because they wanted to frisk me and I told them i had nothing to hide so when I started to shuck down all hell broke loose and I almost got arrested before being able to board the plane under escort. the thing that saved me is I convinced them that my 100 percent disibility from the VA was because of PTSD I still don't trust the TSA gustapo

Government rent-a-cops quite asininely not trusting: "America's Finest" coming home from war with even nail clippers on a plane aside,...aren't even EMPTY weapons much more deadly?

Besides, haven't such obvious Authority Happy Fools (menials thrilled having power & control over others) ever heard of people being pistol-whipped or butt-stroked to death, anyway?

Hell, even little kids know that attacking anyone with 2, 4, 6 or more pounds of steel can mess up a body much more than a nail clippers EVER WILL. Ever hear of anyone getting their brains bashed all-to-hell with a nail clipper?

Also, & since way after my M-1 & M-2 Carbine time & just out of curiosity,...does that M-4 Carbine have one of those neat folding type bayonets, such as many other nations have on their carbines? That would truly blow my mind EVEN MORE, if such were so.

Thumbs down

GropeGate News Roundup!

Janet Napolitano's TSA represents just one more in a long line of success stories for the Obama administration. It aligns perfectly with the Stimulus, HAMP, Green Jobs, Weatherization, Cash-for-Clunkers, Shovel-Ready, ObamaCare, 99 weeks of unemployment, closing Gitmo, etc.

Man claims Charlotte TSA employee groped his 6-year-old son

Man punches TSA screener at Indianapolis International Airport

Controversial pat down at US airport leaves 3-yr-old girl sobbing

Airport staff 'exposed woman's breasts, laughed'

Airport pat-down was 'sexual assault'

"It's sexual molestation all the way around"

"Never again... The pat downs are simply past what I will accept to fly"

Southwest Exec: "People getting partially molested at checkpoints"

For Survivors of Sexual Assault, New TSA Screenings Represent a Threat

Wait -- is it GropeGate or FondleGate?

Default Joy,...

Add this disgusting episode to your disgusting list of Authority Happy Groppers doing their thing.

Some poor fellow was being interviewed on: "Fox & Friends" this morning about his oustanding TSA Horror Story, when obviously screeners are more so concerned about body-searching U.S. Citizens,...THAN any possible Islamic Terrorist Mass-Murderers.

Besides invasively body searching an American as if criminal first being admitted to prison or penitentiary, some airport rent-a-cops ALSO stupidly dislodged his Urine Bag, to-boot. Amazing!!!

The obvious embarassment caused by such (personal, smelling & cloth changing needed) & almost missing his flight aside,...no doubt being trampled over by some Omnipotent U.S. Bureaucracy at its worse, "He" should get himself a good lawyer.

That poor soul might not get to own THAT airport?
But, and even with just a-half-assed-lawyer, I believe there are Really some Big Bucks available here.

Cool "LGBT" bonanza

Well folks, if any additional evidence were needed that by government edict we have at long last truly stepped over the homosexual discrimination threshold into 100% permissiveness, just imagine what the gay-lesbian-bi-sexual-transsexual "community" employed by TSA must be thinking these days.

BONANZA!

Legalized groping, in the name of national security. Finally, the Left gets clearance to fondle us in public.

Just after 9/11, the security at Foxboro stadium where the Patriots used to play tightened up. The weird thing was that we were not allowed to bring any of our edged weapons (swords, spontoon, tomahawks, etc.) into the Pro Shop but we could bring our muskets and cartouche boxes, which held about a pound of rolled black-powder cartridges. Here's the kicker; the powder was "OK" because it wasn't on the list of banned items; the EXPLOSIVES weren't on the list!

Back in '85, our regiment marched in Reagan's 2nd inaugural parade and the Secret Service (aka, the SS) made us take the hammers off our muskets and one of our guys had one of those small plastic swords from the previous night's martini confiscated because "...it could be used as a projectile." The funny part was that the guy was our ensign and he carried a flag, not a musket.

I wish someone would run for office on the platform "Let's make Common Sense, Common!"

Default Doc, Blue & all other TRUE Patriots,

Besides TSA currently serving no better purpose than obviously pleasing their Gay Workers MORE SO than ANY GAYS could ever possibly hope for,...let's think about Travel Survival from another perspective or: "Out-of-the-box".

Being we're at war with MANY MILLIONS of Radical Muslims even though none in U.S. Officialdom will never dare admit such (Can't hurt Muslim feelings),...we peasants or commercial travellers better start thinking like Radically Fanatical Islamists, Jihadists and/or as Stone Killer Mass-Murderers do. Such could save some American lives.

In that context wouldn't the following conversation between a Duped & Eager to Kill Infidels Suicide Bomber: "MO" (short for Mohammed) & his longtime Terrorism Teaching Mullah be quite likely?

"MO baby". "Don't waste your time & our explosives trying to sneak through airport check-points, merely for blowing up some plane & all its passengers". "You obviously won't get through".

"Instead, find the most crowded security checkpoint you can find at the most crowded airport around".

"Then & when about in middle of what no doubt will be enough people being security checked for many flights,...push that button & kill many more Infidels than you ever imagined". "Allah will be SOOOOO Proud of you".

People here better soon start Profiling Somebody SOON!!!
I've got no stomach for being Politically-Corrected (an oxymoron) TO DEATH!!!

Neil

Click on anything and it directs you to the web site to apply for TSA jobs. Nah, I'm holding out for a job on death panels. That's a sit down job.
