Default KT LRRP/Snatch and Grab

It's been awhile boys, but as promised...

After we had our condoms taken away, which ended our sorties, we looked for new ways to bide our time when not at the TMC. We came up with the idea of having trophies, ie.,. Company Guidons. We had so many units coming in from the front and they would stick these flags out front of their buildings. Ah, when the sun went down and everyone went in the medics were on the prowl...

We were proud of our catch! We claimed/liberated guidons from ALL types of units, hq's, and such. We had a nice little trophy display hanging in our living room in our building.

We kept on until the week before we left the sandbox. The funny thing is a notice was sent out to these units that flags were vanishing and they thought it would be better if they didnt leave them outside for display. Some took them down, but the ones that didnt got a visit from the boogie man.

I kept one for myself which still hangs on the wall in my house (the evidence is in the Patriot Files gallery). The reason I kept it was because it was the actual flag that I liberated. Double D (me) scored...damn peer pressure.

From July until September we liberated many flags...some were kept for trophies and some were returned to the units before they left. We would leave them on the top steps out front of the building with a little note, "Liberated by the Dogpound."

Man, the things we did to keep ourselves from going nuts.

Idle hands are the devil's playground... I am a "collector" / "pack-rat" of just about everything.. I could have easily done the same thing...
