Hey Mort - that's a very powerful picture. It tells the whole story.

Default Here is what some 'gulf war syndrome' vets share

Feel the heartache of these gulf war parents who lost their baby
It is not possible to contact these parents; however, and ask if they freshly painted the baby's room? I had a call from a young office worker in a TN college admin offices last year. She said there was no ventilation, and she has come down with severe health damage from breathing the paint fumes (this chemical)

I would warn any family to be careful of painting bedrooms unless it is summer and the windows can be wide open for multiple days ...

Gulf War Study

BDRC has also utilized registry data to evaluate birth defects in the children of Gulf War veterans. Increases have been identified in a rare pattern of cranio-facial birth defects (Goldenhar Syndrome) as well as heart defects and other conditions. These findings have been presented to the Presidential Advisory Committee on Gulf War Illnesses and in numerous national media forums. BDRC and the University of Texas, Southwestern are collaborating on a case-control study of Goldenhar Syndrome in the children of Gulf War veterans.

If you served in the military during the Gulf War and have a child with Goldenhar Syndrome, please contact BDRC.
