This Pathetic Boatman Phan Kane in fact advocated the policy or
philosophy of a Good Iraqi is a Dead Iraqi just like his Kovan
practiced it during the Nam War.
While the aim was to make Iraq safe for Democracy just like before
We, the USA tried to make South Vietnam safe for Democracy has
enormous merit, the way we did it was bad and the people with which
we tried to build Vietnam as a Bastion for Democracy ended up making
this miserable Country a Puppet state, an easy target for the
Vietkong Propaganda in the eyes of the South Vietnamese People.

While I was and am still for the War in Iraq because getting out now
is clearly disastrous. This will show us as a Paper Tiger and will
encourage every Arabic/Muslim Muhamad, Said, Abdul (the equivalent of
Dick, Chuck and Harry) to take a shot at us abroad and inside our own
country.
This war is infinitely more difficult than the War against
Communism/Communists even in the absence of the Soviet Union giving
support to our enemy.


And there are so many of them. Potentially 1.3 billion of them.

With Communism inspired Revolution our adversary need to do a lot of
Propaganda to convince their recruits that they are on the side of
History and that a Communist Society will bring them ,if not
happiness, at the very least equality and fairness in addition to
development with the help of Socialist brother countries.

This Model did not work in the heyday of Communism whence the Soviet
Union commanded more nuclear fire power than the USA (Russia ,
probably, still does), the combined population of the Communist
World(Russia, China, Eastern Europe, North Korea and Vietnam) was
larger than that of the Free World (Western Europe, North America,
Australia, New Zealand and a few more or less Puppet States), it has
not a Chinaman Chance to work now (I used an old cliché' which is no
longer valid because the Chinaman now is orbiting the Earth and will
have Space Station and Chinaman on the Moon). So the excessive fear of
old decrepit Don Thompson for Communism (see his post…in which He
uttered: Kill a Commie a Day, Keep the fuckers away.)was only a
hallucination of someone afflicted with severe acute PTS (Post
traumatic syndrome) induced by shell shocks in Nam.

With the present Muslim inspired Terrorism, all they need was the
religion card, i.e., the US and its Satellites or Proxies like Prime
Minister Mahathir Mahomet liked to say(UK, Australia, Philippines ,
the New Europe etc…)are the new Satan bent on a Crusade against Islam.
I don't know who was the Speech Writer who introduced the vocabulary
Crusade in President George W Bush's seech but he did a disservice.
The Crusade was a series of War which the Christians waged against the
Muslims which the Christian lost !

I don't know how we can get out of this quandary. I know we can not
just get out after declaring victory like in South Vietnam.

I also know that Mr Phan Kane's approach of rebuilding Iraq with the
Good Iraqi and kill all Bad Iraqi , no matter how many it takes will
not work because there are no ways to tell a Good Iraqi from a Bad
Iraqi just like a generation ago Mr Phan Kane and his Kovan did not
know how to tell a Vietkong from a "good" Vietnamese ending up
having to see All good Gook Dead Gooks.
What Mr Phan Kane advocated, in fact, boiled down to A Good Iraqi Is a
Dead Iraqi and by extension a Good Muslim is a Dead Muslim.

I also know that incendiary speeches my my President and his Neocons
advisers (Rumsfeld, Perle, Wolfowitz etc…)and the Fundamentalist
Christian Leaders (Falwells, Robertson, Graham, Swaggart, Bob Jobes
etc…)will just add more oil to the Fire.
I also know that our unrelenting support of Israel ‘s aggression does
not help.
