?Something wicked this way comes - could it be yet another encore for the morally and politically anemic?!?

With some U.S. elections drawing near again, the rocks are flipping over anew, and the political woodwork is again beginning to crawl with ?Sardonic Little Creepy Critters!? (opinion) Ain?t it amazin? how many a lackluster politico can emerge after 2, 4 or 6 years of affluent hibernation to lay claim to glorious deeds and valorous conduct that they are as far removed from as the ?Chigger? is from the ?Cherub!??

While infecting some vestigial office (somewhere in Hell?s creation), a few (not all) of these people are (usually) as invisible as a fart in an F-5 tornado! But when it comes time to redecorate the old ?Hart or Russell Office Building" (Congress), change the wallpaper in the Oval Office, or re-apply for membership in the ?Greater DC Bordello & Breakfast Club?, a few of these slithering homeboys manage to conjure-up earthshaking accomplishments that are derived, not from fact mind you, but rather, directly from the pages of the ?Brothers Grimm (fairytales)!??

I loved JeffL?s scathing, though candid analogy (Vote For What), especially the part about the "Lesser of Two (perceived) Evils!? It is a sad reflection indeed when ?Two (or more) Contenders? pander for the same ?Political Welfare Check? on the basis of the other guy?s (or gal?s) transgressions, because (in my opinion) they can?t find enough good or (genuine) accomplishment in their own (un-altered) resume to brag about!?

So let?s cut through the crap and face facts - We have in the past (often) opted to select the lesser of two evils, and that can be rough when the only genuine difference between the two is naught but his (or her) political title or crap slinging ability! Is not ?Truth? often the second victim in politics, the first being the politicians immortal soul! In a democracy, "Silence is Not Golden", but "Truth" often is - "Talk About Your Rare Metals!?
