Struggling - Just To Make Ends Meet?

(AKA – LEAD BY EXAMPLE)

“Times are really getting damned hard” for a great many of our fellow citizens, but fortunately, for a great many of our elected elite, “Congress” is still taking good care of themselves during these tumultuous times that are proving to be very difficult for the common man and struggling women, not to mention the defenseless children of those that have been adversely affected, through no fault of their own! But I am more than sure that those within government with the power to eliminate, if not cure, the problems that are currently ailing a great many of these mere children, will say a very short prayer for these hurting kids, and this, right before they cut into their juicy steaks, or even pop open the cork on another bottle of their very expensive imported brew!

“And now that I have vented but a small portion of my flaming anger, let’s get down to the nitty-gritty of this problem!”

It is my honest belief that many within “Our Congress” really do feel bad over their own inability (and lagging desire) to do the jobs that they are being handsomely paid to do? But unfortunately, (their chin-music alone) is doing precious damned little to ease the causes of this pandemic and the resulting financial difficulties that are resulting from their own apparent ineptitude and lack of any ‘real’ concern? But unlike “The Great Depression of Yore”, our current flock of “Purely Political Birds”, seem unwilling, or even unable, to come up with any truly viable solutions? So in short, what “These Lame Turkeys” are currently suggesting is no more flyable than the indigent blabber of some 100 years past? And if I am wrong – then prove it by finally coming up with something that really works – “FOR A CHANGE?” (AMEN)
