You may be sitting in a bar talking with some guy your age and remark I was in a real bitchin sand storm in Iraq back in 03. Sand blasted the tank so it looked like stainless steel. The other guy says you know Iwas in a sand storm too did the same thing to my tank. You will compare notes and discover that he was in the Tank right next to you and you will become best friends for the rest of your lives. Then you will form some kind of crazy club like "The PsycoDesertRats MC" One day at aPDR campout one of the guys will ask where were you and you will say Sand Castle #2not far from the Tigris River. Really I was a Doc at Sand Castle #2 when were you there? April of 03 you reply. Oh yea me to. Well I was with the Desert Ratsrecon. Oh those guys replied Doc. Yea I got wounded and they brought me back. Really, I must have treated you then because I was the only Doc there. Don't know Doc I was unconsious.But you will feel a warm feeling like you have never known because you will have just met the man that saved your life 30 years ago.Some years later you will be on the super cyber net conversing with your cyber buddies when Mortardudejr will put up a post and say check these links out, Out of boredome you look through them and find YOUR picture taken back in 03 on patrol in the desert. Next thing you know you will be getting up at 4 am to drive 300 miles to meet some guy and his wife and your only common bond is YOU WERE SOLDIERS ONCE BUT YOU HAVE ABROTHERHOOD THAT ISA BLOOD TIE.
