Default Vietnam Veteran needs support!!!

This is for a man named James Sarchet. He was a helicopter pilot. Not sure of unit and all but here is some info on him. He could really use some cards and support. I even have his phone number if any of you would like to call him. If you want his adress please PM me and i'll give to you.

"He had a stroke, and has lost the use of his left arm and leg. He had laid in bed for two days before a neighbor became concerned about his absence and checked on him. He has no one; no wife, no kids, no siblings. Please, please, every single one of you, and get the word to heli-vets, send this helicopter brother cards. His room is bare. He is alone. "

Please guys, I know ya'll have busy lifes but even a short note or letter would be wonderful to him. Let him know that he isn't alone!

I got this from the 129th site.

Melody,

I know your heart is as big as the state you live in. Not many your age would take the time out of their young lives to help their grandparentsas you do. But can you post a link to the site? It would be a great thing to do but we need to check it out and make sure this man is known personally bythe brothers on the site you are talking about.

A few years back "Bits" a member of this site known tomyself, Curtis and other members here personally got taken in by astory onthe history channel veteranswebsite.

Bit's has his own plane and was ready to fly to Texas to visit a man that stated he was aveteran claimed to be on his death bed, alone and with no help. Bit's had communication with the man but when it got down to the wire the guy finally fessed up to Bits that he waslying and the whole story was made up. Talk about another brick in the wall. It really hurt Bits. Not to mention the guy had Bits name, address, and phone number so he had invaded another Veterans privacy, lied to him and hurt him with some made up bs.

Be careful out there on the net it is not always user friendly.

Arrow.....
I came to hear about him through a trusted member on the 129th site. She had heard about him through a friend and she has went to see him several times in the VA hospital up there.

I truely understand being cautious after that.

I do trust Gently(the woman who posted the info) very much so.
