New York Comptroller
Stated he would " put a bullit between President Bush Eyes"
Then latter he apologized. I don't belive the punishment for threatening the life of the President is to apologize. And when you get on a airplane you can't say I have a bomb, and then apologize. It don't work that way. I have no idea what the office of the President is going to do about this but, (my opinion) the comptroller can apologize after the punishment phase has been completed. Ron |

What the NY comptroller said was in essense a terroristic threat, over and above an overt threat to the President of the United States. Both are federal crimes, and the full weight of the government should be brought down on him. Apologies are for accidentally stepping on somebody's toes, not for premeditated threats. And a resignation is not enough either.
