Thanks Dave,
It's really making me wonder now just how old those items found on Range 28 were!!! none of the Brits took anything from the site, too risky for us to head back through cutoms with American Historical Artifacts but I think 1 or 2 locals 'may' have taken a couple of items to showcase them; we also had Tech I's from an American Indian EOD Company who were a great bunch of people, liked their drink in the Bar at the weekend, we got on really well with them, they even came with the expected American Indian names like Running Bear, Proudfoot and Lightning Bolt! Is anyone here living in Clarkesville and able to get onto the Ranges at Fort Campbell? |

The 2nd one talks about Viking treasure; I was reading an article about how the Vikings advised each other to avoid Scotland because the inhabitants were "savages" and spoke an unintelligible language. The only place the Northmen were welcome were the Hebridies and Shetland Islands where the people were more seafarers like the Vikings.
