Army Reserves
I was just wondering if anyone on here could tell me if there is such a thing now a days as a Full Time Active Duty Army Reservists.
Are you considered full time if you have a job and dont live on base? Just what does it take to become a full time active reservists? Dont the reserves go to camp 1 time a month and 2 weeks for the year? I am just so confused. Any info will be appreciated. enough............. |

There are Full Timers
Its called AGR for Army Guard & Reserve. They are the full timers who are the admin and supply folks at the Armories and Reserve Centers.

We used to meet up with those guys at the armory in Barstow. Always wondered how they got that job.

Those full time AGR guys just have to be in the guard and apply for the job. But the tricky part about getting a job is once they get a job they don't want to leave until they retire so it is far and few in between for openings.
