Homelessness , Endless Chatter & The Invisible Magic Wand

VERITAS – TRUTH, JUSTICE & LIBERTY

A series of pointed barbs that are targeting those lackluster and pathetic fools who incessantly claim, and I quote: “You’ll know you did it, but I am going to get credit for it!!”

And yes indeed - You just can’t seem to have one (homelessness and baseless chatter) – without running into those who claim to possess the panacea for this entire human tragedy, and so it is!

In fact - One has but to turn on the tube in the morning to realize just how dire the homeless situation really is here in America! And yet, throughout all of this (and more), there are still those damned fools out there who cry out in dismay, and this while claiming that homelessness is all just a state of mind, or that all of these people who are homeless, are there merely because they want to be, they are bums, they are lazy or they are just not taking advantage of the (so-called) magnificent (?) resources that are readily available to them – “BULL CRAP!”

For unless you have been there, you have absolutely no idea of what homelessness and hunger are really all about – and that too is a fact!

So – just what do you really know about the desperation, and the mental anguish, that goes along with being without shelter, warmth, money or even security? And worst of all is that feeling of desperation that accompanies being without a place to hang your hat! But after all, and if we really believe all of those talking heads that saturate the tube these days, if a person is homeless (or even semi-homeless), it is only because they are laggards, lazy or even because they have chosen to be without a roof over their heads?

“But once again, I say that this is not always the case!” And the feelings that go along with being without food, shelter or even hope, can’t possibly be described to anyone who has not been there and done that – not in a thousand years!

So count your blessings, you who have a place to live, ample food to eat, medical help when needed and the security of family and genuine friends around you – for many of us really have no idea of what it is like to have nothing – not even hope or a future!

“And pray that you never will experience the horrors of the streets (the cold, the anguish, the hunger and the fear) for once again, who among us is genuinely immune from experiencing (First Hand) what those poor, wretched creatures of the streets go through on a daily basis?

For these “Creatures of God” are not all bums, nor even cast-offs! They are rather our brothers and our sisters and many more of them are but mere children – and but for the grace of ‘God’, there also go we!!

“And this is absolutely true, but do enough of us even care anymore!?”

Yes HC - it's sad to see this everyday.

And yet we take more in then we can at times sustain.
Fortunate we are - but at times - it's like the depression - whereas many
have come into this Nation - and to go through some of these sad happenings.
It isn't easy for those folks and their kids. The system isn't a panacea - rather
its a hand out - but for only so long. Then they have to re-acclimate into a
new system.

During WW1 & WW2 - things were real tough - we ourselves had to deal with
the lack of jobs and food stuffs. It's a cycle that is common around the globe.
We've yet to see any reductions in these problems - that are world wide issues
with many countries and folks looking for food - safety for their kids - and
finding employment.

Depression is an awful way to survive - and more so if your married and have
kids to raise & feed. These transitions are not easy on them.

Our society of late also suffers from increased pricing on food and gas.
Tax's are going up on our property - and jobs are at times hard to find -
and some don't pay enough to cover household rents & food.

My Grandparents were immigrants thru Ellis Island in WW1 & WW2.
It was tough on them for few years. They struggled but eventually
began to fit into our system and find work. Then raise their families.

The depression back then wasn't easy - as our history - and our
ancestors had to get through these issues just as well.

Yet today we suffer higher bills - gasoline - food products and
anything else is breaking our backs.

Our monitary US$ are undergoing electronic of digital very soon
almost like the bitcoin crap going on overseas.

We've change much of our internal issues - pricing - gas -
electricity and oil - all are out of site and SS doesn't get
jacked up we won't have much to buy groceries or gas.

Property taxes also going up. House values have risen
but then taxes are high as well - its a catch 22 they
get you on the front end as well on back end when
you file your taxes.

We have many problems today in the good old US of A
and it driving many of us nuts with price increases!
