If a person voluntarily chooses to share their life, their labors, their talents, and even their efforts with another, then that is one thing! But when any element of a society, or even a government itself, “demands unquestioning adherence” to their way of thinking, or even their own individual way of doing things, then that is quite another - and in some cases it is totally unacceptable!

What about “All Men (and woman) Are Created Equal” do some people still refuse to accept or to acknowledge? And why is it that the archaic thinking of “The Old World”, along with those who constantly seek to re-inject it into our way of life, forever remains a looming danger? Every man and woman’s life, after all, is their own, unless of course, they themselves opt to be the slave or the servant of any system, individual, or even political ideology!

Granted, to function effectively, certain laws and norms must be adhered to, but when the rule of the clique (or cabal), rather becomes the demands of any political party, and that in turn, becomes the orders of the one, then (in my opinion) that system of governance, no matter where upon earth it takes root, flies into the face of all that we as a nation of free and independent beings, was founder upon! (opinion)

Also in my opinion, “The Almighty” gave us all a brain to think with, a conscience to direct us, logic to guide us, and a soul to put us all back on track when we stray in an errant direction! And a nation (any nation), is only as strong, courageous, righteous, and even as viable, as the people who inhabit it!

All good points HC - Men & Women run this country and both have served in one capacity or another. To punish women with Roe vrs Wade is unacceptable. Ideology should allow a person to choose not what the government says in all cases.

Note: Someday women will run this country and I'd hate to see castration becoming the word or topic of the day - ya know what I mean!
