Thanks guys, as Minny Pearl would say "I'm jest so happy to be hare!"

Had a couple fighting on "our" side but also my great granpappy was one half of a twin set that came down during Reconstruction and married twin sisters from Charlston SC that had property in Macon Ga. My Cousin on the Hays side says we come from a group of Builders, Preachers, and Teachers. I also know of one CSA draft dodger who lost his country store cause he wouldn't join up so they took everything he had. Guess that makes me one of those 57 Heinz types.

Doc. 2/47 you sure are right about those pretty women but thank the Lord I can still look at them.

Packo - Man I sure do love me some BBQ. I know you Texas guys like Beef but I like pork myself but like the saying goes "The worst I ever had was plenty good!"

Did anyone hear that Elephant that just flew past.

Thanks for having me guys. Howdy

Default Knowing your from Jawga...

I'll give you a break. I'm in SC. Not even quite sure where that Texas place is. In Mexico I think. Beef's for burgers and steak's....not BBQ. Live inbetween Charleston and Savannah.

Thanks David.

Packo - somewhere between Charlston and Savannah, thats some mighty fine area you're talking about. I'm outside of Pooler myself, love me some lowcountry boil! You're right if it ain't pork it ain't BBQ. Just can't move away from the salt air. Call me when you guys start talking bout Grits, can do just about anything with them including stopping leaks.!!

Default Howdy

If your anywhere around Ellijay in April, you should stop on by and have a beer or 20 with us. Info is posted over on the Vietnam forum for dates and times (top, sticky section started by Pho) The only thing we need to know is your religious affiliation so we can make sure we cover it during the prayer breakfast. Oh Yeah one other thing, can you sing?

Default Ga..

Pooler! Right down the road. Beaufort here. Love the 8th AF Museum. With all your access to swimps.....try some shrimp and grits. If done right, can't be beat. Deb and I were just in Savannah Saturday. Check out the Vietnam site like BobK said. Check out the gallery for East Coast Campout photos. You just may be interested in joining us in April.

Lowcountry Boil! Great stuff only we call it Frogmore Stew here. Psyco Fred from Brunswick usually makes some on the mountain in April. He has access to tons of fresh swimps.

Welcome Aboard! A great bunch. But this War of Northern Aggression stuff, have you been talking to the likes of Paco or Gimpy? Sounds all to familiar.

Stay away from Brother Bob (b3196). He's a Northerner, Polish, and a Cop and that equals one strange animal. There is something about him and sheep. And now he wants to be a preacher. Be careful.

Alright guys I'll check the April gig out and thanks for the invite. Yep I'm into the 1861 War thing but not as a matter of who was right or wrong but what the real truth was. The issue was settled on the battlefield but the telling of the history is another matter altogether. Anyway thats for another thread and what I wanted to say here is that I thank you all for the invite.
