On the way back home to Oakland, we made a side trip onto Treasure Island. Treasure Island is completely man-made from land fill. It is attached to a real island, Yerba Buena Island [Good Herb in Spanish]. Both the east and west spans of the San Francisco - Oakland Bay Bridge are attached to Yerba Buena Island.
