Maybe “Meteorology” (The study of weather) should be redefined as just another one of Aesop’s Fables? This is not to say that the weathermen don’t get it right some of the time, but here in “The South land” it is often more of a hit and miss proposition than it is an exact science?

I am beginning to believe that some of these “Climate Prognosticators” merely flip a coin to determine what in the hell it is going to do on any given day? Maybe they should just stick their heads out of the window, and if it gets wet, the chances are that it is raining, and maybe not?

“Of course, we have heard all of the standard excuses before!” The storm merely fell apart before it got here, the weather patterns changed, the wind currents shifted, and of course the age-old favorite –“The Gods -of Olympus” are having yet another one of their age-old hissy-fits, take your choice - “You probably stand almost as much chance of being right as they do, in my opinion!”

NEWS FLASH – Once again, the forecast out here on “The Shaky-Side” has switched again and it is now calling for heavy rain? But if you are willing to wait for an hour or two, maybe that too will change again!? But what the Hell, I hear that if you are willing to wait (and truly believe) long enough, even “The Sahara Desert Itself” will again eventually experience a biblical deluge????

And once again - I am sure that “Our Resident Expert On all Things (great and small)” will eventually have something to say about this as well?
