Constabulary
Tasked with policing US Occupation Zones of post-World War II Germany & Austria, the Army's Constabulary wrote a unique page in military history. Constabulary Troopers were among the first of America's Cold War Warriors. Check out the US Constabulary Association website:

Hi,
Glad you posted that link I printed out a whole book on U.S. Army Border Operations In Germany. I served with 1/2ACR on "The Rock" Bindlach Germany, so this was down my alley. Toujours Pret, Dave
