How close we
came to knowing each other! Congratulations my ol' friend Dragon! So glad you were able to work with Ed in Raleigh, and with my dear friends in Salem. Our paths have crossed and we never even knew it until we ended up on the old sites. What a pleasure it's been knowing you.

Frozen Dragon
I would not expect to hear from Dennis for a few days.....seems that he has no power from the ice storm that ripped through his town this week. Duke Power estimates that close to 1/2 a million people in his AO are without.
Dennis, let us know when you thaw out. Hell, it's even cold here! Brrrborne! Packo P.S. Think Blues Clues might have got nailed in the upstate also.

No power, no problem...
...Us northern' folk understand the fury of winter, and to ascert the 5 p's...
...perfect practice prevents pisspoor performence... ...we get the snow, and Ice every winter, and just being prepared is the key, me I don't care how long the "power" goes out for because I've already made provisions for it... ...bought a wood stove that was made in Norway(where it's real cold, and they do make stoves that work), Jotul, and it heats our 3800 sq. feet, , wood is abundent, and the key word is "free", so being that I got nothing else to do with my time as a whole,(asawhole)... I'm a "gatherer",and it really hasn't cost me a nickle to heat for the last 4 years out side of gas , and oil for the chainsaw, few new chains, plenty of candles, and oil buring lamps, half a cow, and venison in the freezor, 8 bags of red taters in the dry celler', lots, lots of onions, carrots,(mouths watering yet), buy in bulk... ...do have a small genarater for the "lektricity" if needed but their noisey, and would rather have the silience wisping across the snow.......... ...I have no problem hunkering down for the winter up here, just have to get ready in September... ...

poco we got a little ice it took down most of our power lines got it back sometimes in the middle of the night we weren't here we found a place that had lights and heat old body can't take the cold. I like you hope dragon can breath some fire to get warm.

He might have to. You know how slow we are in the South when it comes to Winter Storms. Glad you got your power back.....ditto on the bones. I may have to move to the Equator if it gets much colder here, and it's in the 50's!
