I've been told that already by the local VA dude, meaning about the VA needing to diagnose the condition. He has neuropathy also and told me he was diagnoseed on the outside as having carpal tunnel, then the VA hospital diagnosed him with Diabetic Polyneuropathy. To the best of my knowledge I'm diagnosed with peripheral Polyneuropathy. I also have to rely on the shuttle to Indy, since my car was stolen a few years back and I haven't managed to rise above the bus ride yet. The VA folks said it could take a few trips and I have to go with their flow. Effectively, as you say, "ride the wave." It sounds like a few months of trips to me. The one thing that has me concerned is if it turns out to be a form of nerve cancer instead.
Thanks for the input. Dr. Who |

The VA
The VA has always treated me well. Of course I haven't had any great amount of attention. Just a Bi Annual check up and some meds for High Blood Pressure.
Did have problems with them dealing with a gangling cyst on my foot. It is still unresolved. Keith |
