Jumping a Huey
That first piccie is exactly the view you have just before you
place both hands on the floor at your sides and PUSH OFF!!! The rotor downwash delays your chute opening a couple of seconds...and you're only 8 seconds free-fall off the ground to start with. That's kind of an adrenalin rush. I imagine that breeze sittin' in the open doors felt good in the jungle...but try that sometime in Virginia in January. Airborne! Steve / 82Rigger |

slicks
Road a lot of miles sitting in a doorway . Went down in two of them. Felt most comfortable sitting in one, it was the getting out I didn't like. Sometimes they wouldn't stop and lower the stairway for you, Huh.
