So What Is Happening?

Once upon a time, in a land that now seems so very far away –

“There Lived A Magnificent Nation” conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all men were created equal – “SO WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO US?”

Maybe it is just me, but earlier this morning, I had the occasion to glance down at an ink-refill cartridge that I was inserting into my printer, and noticed that it was clearly labeled “Made in China!”

This brought back memories of those years that immediately followed “World War II”, when products that were labeled “Made in Japan” were scoffed at (and belittled) as being second rate and not up to American Standards – “Oh, How Times Have Changed!” For now, those products from once “Third World Nations” are readily consumed, right here within “The United States of America” and this without even giving it a second thought. And more is the shame, as products now flood into “Our Once Sacred Markets” from all over the world!

In short (and in my unsophisticated opinion), ‘we have lost our edge’ and unless we quickly gain it back, we may soon find ourselves relegated to the unsavory position of “Just Another Third World Nation Ourselves?” And no, that just ain’t funny “nor is it even impossible!!”

And so it is, or at least or so it may soon become - as arrogance may indeed, (also) come, shortly before a fatal fall!! “So Wise-Up Again America – And Damn Fast!!”

HC - well said but the generations that follow us can't relate
to those better days long ago.
-
Society today is far different today then during our days.
-
What we once had - has been gutted by the Congress and we
are living under mostly new management with their ideas of
what's best for us.
-
The 50's through mid-60's were showing signs of strength
but in the 70's until now - it's taken away the promises of a
better way of life.
-
Like it's been said we've farmed out most Made in the USA
to foreign elements who in turn profit from our purchases.
All the Mom & Pop small businesses were wiped out and then
our steel mills - and many other USA manufacturing facilities
went with them.
-
Employment took a horrendous beating and still to this day
we suffer our manufacturing being supplied by foreigners.
-
The job market dropped like a stone - and it caused
unemployment to rise.
-
We even buy oil from other Nations because of underground
fracking - issues out west.
-
We've been suffering more & more each year fron offshore foreign
profits.
-
We battle in other lands each and every year. So as to stabilize
their Nations and shortly our losses began adding up and coffin's
coming home. Only to see our services were useless against those
foreign elements - as they fail to prevent a reoccurrence within
their Nations. Again they cry out for help - and what we get is
more losses - and money spent with little to show for it;
except our military being compromised at every turn.

Big Brother to the World - isn't really getting us anywhere.

Our Citizens are suffering from the ongoing cost of almost
everything we buy or need.
-
Our leaders don't suffer from the expenses we see. And yet they
don't seem to understand why things are what they are - even
when its black and white - they seem to look the other way - it
seems.

The top 3% are making money - while the 97% are tail-gating
way behind.
-
We bankroll many 3rd world countries - to what end? It results in
short comings of any returns.
-
Americans are very divided by the system and its operations.
-
Rasing taxes because the dollar isn't worth a dollar any more
and of a shortage of dollars - only frustrates us civvies to no end.
-
HC points out some good advice - but sure as hell - we aren't
seeing any of it.
-
The dollar today is worth but maybe 25 cents - if that. Cost have
been driven up on everything - thereby we the tax-payer's - get far less.
-
Our Nation is in havoc. And yes the way we're going we may
end up as a 3rd world Nation - which is the last thing we want to
hear!

All the signs are there as HC pointed out - so what do you do
you raise the taxes more and more - thus driving up the cost
of everything - and putting many - on the street!

Our so- called Leader's of our country are two-faced & double-talkers
and more-so when running for office - or - wanting another term.
You guys get fat paychecks and lifetime retirement benefits.
We get the bill - so that you can remain on your towers of
profits and fortunes - made off of us tax payers.

As we know rebellions are already in the making - it won't pretty
- and it will be our demise. Until you guys bring back our stature
and our pride in the United States.

You guys made these problems - and you don't know how to
fix it and/or that you just don't care anymore.
-
Let's face it - we're - Top Heavy in our Political system and
that needs to be resurfaced. It's up to you to fix it or we will!

Many want you to suffer as we do - to-reestablish - our People's
needs - and the respect and to bring back our pride in our Country.
-
It's not the People's fault - we are in this mess - because of you!
It's the system. And the corruption from within.

As HC points this out - and if anything, I hope it doesn't continue.
Or break our Nation's ideals even more-so!

We all see it - we all feel it - so do other Nations - they will continue
to test us until we break! - and then what!?
